Write a sentence under each picture telling about it.

Social Studies:

• The song, The Star Spangled Banner, is the national anthem of the United States. Many people stand and put their hand over their heart when they sing this song to show respect for the flag and our country. You might have heard this song before, especially before a sporting event.

Google Meet: today at 10am. Please bring paper and pencil for spelling test. Write your name on the top of the paper and number from 1-12. We will be taking our spelling test and then we will have a Mystery Guest.


Mother's Day: 

• I have posted a file in google classroom for you to do a surprise for your mom for Mother's Day. Don't ask her for any of the answers. Write what you think is the answer. You can work on this today if you haven't already done so. Ask your dad if you need help. ;)

Reading:

• We have worked with contractions this school year. I would like for you to review them today. Remember, a contraction is when you take two words and combine them to make one smaller word. We use an apostrophe to take the place of the missing letter(s).
