**With the shortened week because of Columbus Day and our field trip, we will not be having any spelling words this week.

1. Our Tranquility Farm field trip is scheduled for this Wednesday! Please have your child wear their complete gym uniform, as well as appropriate footwear and dress in layers. We will be eating lunch at the farm. Please send your child with a disposable brown bag lunch, including a snack and drink, clearly labeled with their name on it. All chaperones are to meet in our first grade classroom at 8:45am. The bus will be leaving at 9am and we anticipate to be back to school by 2pm.
2. The STS Walk-a-thon is this Thursday! Please have your child wear their gym uniform and bring a bottle of water to school.
3. Raz-Kids -- I have a purchased a subscription for the class to use Raz-Kids. I am sending home all login information today. You can read a regular book or use Raz Kids for our nightly reading homework, whichever you/your child would like.
