Please do the following when you are NOT meeting with me:

Religion:

  • Decorate the Alleluia banner on page 310 in your religion book with signs of new life. You might want to add the new life that you saw on your walk last week looking at God's creation.

Reading:

  • Listen to the story, The Great Eggscape,  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYE6oMmPfBI
  • Please do the following activity after you have listened to this story. You can choose one of the activities that is listed below. Have fun!!
  • Option 1: The Egg Wants to Escape! Can  you make a maze to get your egg from beginning to end. Think about some things we have talked about at school this year --- what is something we can use to push or pull the egg through your maze? Can you use a straw? Can you use a magnet? Can you use something else to get your egg to escape through your maze?
OR

  • Option 2: An Egg Wants to Play a Game of Hide and Seek! Create a habitat to hide or camouflage your egg (it can be a plastic egg...doesn't have to be a real one). Think about how animals protect themselves by camouflaging themselves. Look at the color of your egg. Can you find other things that might camouflage it from others seeing it? Can you make your egg look like a different color or colors to blend it in with other colors that are the same?
  • Take a picture and email it to me! :)

Science:
  • Do activity on pages C58-C59 after science meeting with whole class.

You will be doing the following with me during your small group or whole class meeting times (Please do not do this ahead of time --- we will do this together):

  • Religion pages 308-310
  • Math pages 391-394
  • Science - pages C56-C57
  • Mystery Reader
Have a nice day!
