Good Morning! Here is today's schedule:
8:00 – 8:30am – Whole Class Morning Meeting - bring reading textbook (pages 145-146)
8:30 – 9:15am – Small Group 1 Meeting - bring reading textbook and story questions paper (Brooklyn, Cataleya, Natasha, Valentina, Sophia, Aiden)
9:15 – 10:00am – Small Group 2 Meeting - bring reading textbook and story questions paper (Victoria, Catherine, Ryan, Lucy, Josie, Jackson)
10:00 – 10:45am – Small Group 3 Meeting - bring reading textbook and story questions paper (Clara, Carli, Jaya, Samantha, Angelina)
10:45 – 11:30am – Small Group 4 Meeting - bring reading textbook and story questions paper (Zachary, Emma, Stephen, Ava, Calvin, Sean)
11:30 – 12:00pm – Whole Class Meeting - bring "Contractions with not" paper and Practice pages 57-58
Please do the following when you are NOT meeting with me:
Spelling:
- This week's spelling words are: faster, fastest, taller, tallest, shorter, shortest, sadder, saddest, bigger, biggest, goodbye, before
- Write each word 3 times.
- Spelling Word Search -- sent home paper
Reading:
- Read for 15 minutes a book from home, re-read our story from today, RazKids, or Epic Reading
- pages 283-284
- (subtract from 16 & 18 or less) -- pages 81-82
- Quick Write paper (Some animals hibernate and some do not. Write about animals that hibernate and about those that do not hibernate.)
Finish any work that was not completed during our small group meetings.
Snack/Bathroom
You will be doing the following with me during your small group or whole class meeting times (Please do not do this ahead of time --- we will do this together):
Reading:
- Read story in reading textbook "Where Are My Friends?" on pages 148-163
- Comprehension questions for story -- sent home paper
- Practice Book pages 57-58
Grammar:
- Contractions with not -- page 69 -- paper sent home
