8:30- 8:50am - Bathroom/Stretch Break before Art

10:00 – 10:30am – Small Group 2 Meeting - bring scholastic newsletter "Too Much Toothpaste" (Victoria, Catherine, Ryan, Lucy, Josie, Jackson)

10:30 – 11:00am – Small Group 3 Meeting - bring scholastic newsletter "Too Much Toothpaste" (Clara, Carli, Jaya, Samantha, Angelina)

Please do the following when you are NOT meeting with me:

Spelling: 

  • This week's spelling words are: train, way, tail, play, day, may, rain, gray, mail, afraid, about, would
  • Write each word 3 times

Reading: 

  • Read for 15 minutes to a stuffed animal or doll.
Review Work:
  • February Made for Mornings "Word Problems" -- paper in packet
  • Morning Mini February -- paper in packet
Art:
Materials: Sketchbook or white paper, markers, crayons 1. Look at the link below which show examples of what your picture could be. 2. Using a dark marker, draw a simple face in the center of your paper. This should be small, as the hair is the main part of the project. 3. Using different colored markers, create various spaces in which to design the hair by making different kinds of lines going from the face to the edge of the paper. 4. Use markers to fill each space with different shapes, lines, designs, pictures, etc.
