Today's Homework

Reading: Please have your child re-read the decodable reader that went home today. Directions are in the ziplock bag. Please send the bag and book back into school tomorrow. Also, your child should read a book from home for 15 minutes and log. Reading the decodable reader can count towards those 15 minutes. The reading log should be handed in on Friday. 

Spelling: This weeks spelling words went home today. You will find them in your child's notebook. Please have your child choose on activity from the spelling menu (in folder) and write their answers in the notebook.

Dismissal tomorrow is at noon.

We will be having our First Friday Mass tomorrow at 11am. It will be livestreamed on the church's website, if you would like to watch. We will be livestreaming it in our classroom as well for social distancing purposes. 

No school Monday for Labor Day.

Homework will begin next week.

We had a very good first day in first grade! We spent the day going over our classroom and learning our new routines. Homework will begin next week. Dismissal for today and tomorrow is at 2pm. Dismissal on Friday is at noon.

 First Grade School Supply List for 2020-2021

 Please label everything with your child's name on it.

(these supplies will also be used for art class)

2 dozen #2 pencils - sharpened

1 box of crayons (24 pack)

1 pair of 5" scissors - blunt end

2 pink erasers

1 bottle Elmer's white glue

20 glue sticks - translucent

2 large boxes of tissues

4 - 2-pocket folders labeled (1-Seatwork, 1-Homework, 1-Spanish, 1 Assessment)

2 black and white marbled notebooks

1 package of baby wipes

1 container of Lysol/Clorox Wipes (you can send these in whenever they come more available at stores)

1 Storage Box — Plastic Shoe Box Size with Removable Lid

1 Binder, 3 ring, durable, 1"

Rosary beads in small ziplock bag

Headphones (in a labeled plastic bag)

1 ruler (inches and centimeters shown)

1 Pencil Sharpener

Markers (both thick and thin)

Colored Pencils
