Spelling: Workbook page 1. This week's spelling words are: mad, bat, cat, at, dad, ran, can, back, sack HFW ( High Frequency Words ) come, way. TEST FRIDAY!
Reading: Worksheet page 4 AND Decodable #1 "Tap, Tap, Tap" - Please have your child read the Decodable two more times this evening and return the book to school tomorrow.
Math: Workbook page 3.
Reminders:
Picture Day - Picture Day for 1st Grade is Friday, September 13th. Students need to be in uniform.
Recess Toy - If you would like to send your child in with a SMALL recess Toy each day, you may do so. Please try not to send any toys that are "super special" to them as things can sometimes get lost or damaged.
Back To School Night - The First Grade Back to School Night will take place next Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30 PM in the first grade classroom. Please enter through the First Grade door located at the far end of the parking lot. The Main Office will be closed. Thank you for your prayers and condolences during this difficult time for my family. Your kind words and emails were greatly appreciated!
